Why the Name “Artisan James”

When it came time to name my jewelry line, I wanted it to stand for something — something rooted in love, respect, and family.

“Artisan” was the easy part — that’s me. I’m the creative soul behind each design, fueled by too many Diet Cokes and late-night bursts of inspiration.

“James” came from my father-in-law — the man who didn’t have to be. He stepped into the role of “dad” when my husband was just a boy, raising him with unconditional love as if he’d been his own from the very start. When I lost my amazing dad in 2008, my father-in-law once again filled that space with unwavering support, steady love, and quiet strength.

He is the true definition of integrity — just like my dad was. My son carries part of my dad’s name, and now my other “child,” my jewelry line, carries my father-in-law’s. Every piece I create under the Artisan James name is crafted with that same spirit — care, purpose, and heart.
